Virginia High School Students must participate in their spring area/regional competitions in order be able to advance to the 2026 State Competition in May 2026. Reach out to your local SWCD to learn more about getting involved!

This year’s Envirothon Special Topic is Non-Point Source Pollution: It begins at home! This current event topic changes each year and is chosen by the International Envirothon hosts, which is in Starkville, Mississippi this year.
The Virginia Dominion Energy State Envirothon will be held TBD. The overall first-place winner will be progressing to the International Competition in Starkville, Mississippi from July 19-25.
