Current Competition Details: Virginia’s Dominion Energy Envirothon

Virginia High School Students must participate in their spring area/regional competitions in order be able to advance to the 2027 State Competition in May 2027. Reach out to your local SWCD to learn more about getting involved!

This year’s Envirothon Special Topic is Soil Health Management: Agricultural Principles and Stewardship. This current event topic changes each year and is chosen by the International Envirothon hosts, which is in Emmitsburg, Maryland this year.

The Virginia Dominion Energy State Envirothon will be held TBD. The overall first-place winner will be progressing to the International Competition in Emmitsburg, Maryland from July 25-31.
