The VASWCD and its Educational Foundation organize regional director and staff trainings throughout the year.
The next Director/Admin training is scheduled to be in person on June 6, 2025 at the Randolph-Macon College. See below for draft agenda, registration cost and details, hotel accommodations if needed, and more. As this training will be beneficial for both SWCD Staff and Directors we are offering a discount for multiple attendees from a District.
Training offered on June 6th will include Audit Feedback discussion with CPA Sara Adams, Attachment D training provided by Blair Gordon with DCR, OAG lessons from your representatives, and grant writing and resource development training.

12:15-12:30 – Office of Attorney General Representation Advice & Networking
12:30-1:00 – Lunch Provided
1:00-3:00 – Grant Writing & Resource Development (Speaker: Susie Miller, Grant Writer & Administrator)
3:15-3:30 – Adjournment & Break for YCLI Preparations (YCLI Science Fair & Banquet Graduation @ 4:30PM)
